May 2021 - Pre-field Ministry Updates

Greetings,
My family and I are grateful that you have partnered with us to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the Haitians living in the Dominican Republic and in Haiti. What a privilege it is to serve as ambassadors for Christ! We are so excited about this ministry endeavor and cannot wait to see how the Lord will use us for His glory.

Please continue to pray for us as we seek to raise other prayer and financial partners. We are currently at 53% of our required monthly support and hope to see an increase of 35% in the next three months, if it is God’s will.

Pray also for traveling mercies for us as we continue to share our burdens for our people every week. This Saturday we will be in Stockbridge, Georgia, to participate in a missions’ banquet. The next day, we will go to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, for a conference on international theological education. While in Pennsylvania, we will make a short two-hour trip to New Jersey to minister to one of our supporting churches on Sunday, May 23. We will remain in the New Jersey area for one more week for another preaching engagement on May 30. Finally, we are tentatively planning to attend a church planting conference in Michigan the first week of June.

Although the support raising has been slow for the past two months, we still believe that the Lord will allow us to reach our goal by December. If so, we will leave the United States right away to begin working with our people on January 1.

Our beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, please know that we care about you as much as you care about us. So, as you continue to lift us up in prayer, feel free to let us know how we can pray for you. If there is anything else we can do to help you, let us know. “For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus” (Phil. 1:6).
