June 2025 - Ministry Updates with Pictures

Greetings, Faithful Supporters!
In the Psalter, David told his listeners that he actively sought the LORD and received His favor. Then, he invited them to experience God’s benevolent grace through personal faith and trust in Him (Psalm 34:4-8). Like David, we realize that we are beneficiaries of God’s goodness and steadfast love as we reflect on His abundant blessings on our ministry for the past three years.

Last Sunday, we celebrated the church’s third anniversary. It was a joyful and refreshing day for everyone. Despite immigration pressure from the Dominican government, the Haitian refugees continue to worship God wholeheartedly. This past celebration brought many tears to my eyes and strengthened my faith in God. We will gladly do our best to remain on the mission field and work diligently to please Him.

Dear Brothers and Sisters, God set a pattern for us a long time ago. He created the universe in six days and rested on the seventh day (Gen. 2:1-2). Our mission agency emulates this principle. It allows missionaries to take one year off the field after four years so they can rest, reconnect with friends, and report to churches and individual donors about the work.

With that goal in mind, my family and I would like to return to the United States to visit you. However, we believe it would be better to spend six months at a time since our leaders still require additional experience. To help them during our absence, I will make short-term trips back to the DR to teach and supervise the ministry. Please pray that God will provide us with $8,500 US to purchase a used vehicle in the US that can accommodate seven people. I have received counsel from other missionaries that this might be the best use of my funds since I must also make frequent trips to the US for deputation.

Below is a summary of our praise and prayer requests so you know how to continue to lift us before God. Thank you for being our partners in sharing the good news about Jesus Christ. To God be the glory! May our God fulfill “the good work” He has begun in you “until the day of Jesus Christ” (Phil. 1:6).

Pray for the church, the children’s school, and the Bible school.
Pray that God will provide us with $8,500 to purchase a used vehicle in the US.
Pray that the ministry remains strong while we are away.
