October 2024 - Ministry Updates

Dear Friends,
We greet you in the precious name of Jesus Christ and trust you are doing well. We will not cease to thank you for your fervent prayers and financial commitment to our ministry in Santiago de Los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. It is always a pleasure to update you, so you know how to continue to pray for us.

Last month, my family and I traveled to the US to raise awareness and make new ministry partners. We visited a few churches in Georgia, Alabama, and Michigan. We enjoyed fellowshipping with our brothers and sisters in Christ and sharing our burdens. We received a lot of encouragement, so we are thankful.

Please continue to pray for our support and our ministry! Recently, we lost a faithful supporting church because it is closing. As a result, our support level has dropped to 90%. We will continue to trust our Lord to provide for us as we minister to His people. We know He will never let us beg for bread because we belong to Him (Psalm 37:25).

All the ministries are strong and healthy. We are diligently training some men to serve as the church’s deacons through a six-month program. They come to class every Sunday evening so they will understand their roles as laid out in the Bible.

The children’s school is doing well. Surprisingly, while we were in the US last month, six more kids were enrolled, bringing the total to 47. We count it a blessing to train these precious children academically and biblically. We are praying that we will find sponsorship for all of them. Right now, four of the 47 children already have sponsorship. Praise God for His provisions!

This semester, we offer a Systematic Theology course to our Bible students. Regrettably, my trip to the US caused the students to fall behind schedule. I will do my best to help them catch up so they can grasp all the essential doctrines of the Bible before the end of the semester. Thankfully, a few friends from Alabama and Michigan will soon come to help us cover the material. We aim to have at least 12 teachers, one for each month in 2025. Would you please join us in this endeavor?
