November 2023 - Ministry Updates

Greetings,
Thank you for being a faithful partner in the gospel! It pleases us that you support us financially and spiritually as we minister to the Haitians in the Dominican Republic (DR). As always, we want to highlight some of the key things God has done through us recently.

Our church plant is going well. Last month, one lady accepted Christ as her Savior. We thank God for saving 20 people through our ministry so far. Our Bible school is well and alive also. Three weeks ago, our friend Riley, an ABWE missionary, visited us and brought pastor Looman with him. They arrived on Saturday, November 11. On Sunday morning, Pastor Looman preached in our church and taught a modular course on Soteriology during the week. The students learned a lot and were so thankful.

On Saturday, November 18, two other missionary fellows, Matt and Lee, visited us with a team while they were on a tour to encourage ministry partners. Brother Matt preached a powerful message on Sunday morning from the book of Luke. After the worship service, the team left to go to Puerto Plata to visit one more partner before returning to the United States of America.

By God’s grace, our children’s school is getting stronger. All our 30 students come to school daily and are eager to learn. We thank God for the opportunity to offer a quality education to these kids and ask that you pray with us for their protection and well-being. While we train them academically, we desire that they know God and the excellency of Christ Jesus, who died to give us eternal life.

Dear Brothers and Sisters, we praise God that we are at 90% of our required monthly support. We will not cease to thank you for your generous giving, without which our ministry would not be possible. May the Lord fulfill the “good work” He has begun in you “until the day of Jesus Christ” (Phil. 1:6).
