November 2021 - Pre-field Ministry Updates

Happy Thanksgiving to you!

We thank God for your faithfulness and are grateful that you have partnered with us. We are writing to give you a brief update on our pre-field ministry progress. As you know, our goal was to relocate to the Dominican Republic next month. However, our required monthly support is currently at 77%. Therefore, our mission agency cannot give us financial clearance to leave for the mission field this year.

Although our support level has not increased, we continue to experience God’s blessings every day. Most weekends, we have the privilege of sharing God’s Word as we minister to churches and share our burdens for our people in the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Such a privilege strengthens our faith and draws us closer to Jesus Christ.

Please pray for the missionary visa, which we will need to undertake religious work in the Dominican Republic. The immigration process is long and complicated. But we are thankful that we have gathered and legalized all the required documents. Next week, we will go to Miami, Florida, to submit them to the Dominican consulate.

We are thankful for God’s provisions and protection throughout the year and are confident that He will never leave us nor forsake us (Deut. 31:6). As we stand on His promises, we ask that you pray with us for the remaining support so that we can carry out the Great Commission. And if God leads you to give financially to the ministry, please do so, “knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord” (1 Cor. 15:58).
