September 2021 - Pre-field Ministry Updates

Greetings,

We hope you are doing well by God’s grace. As always, we have some exciting news to share with you. Last month, we traveled with our senior pastor and three other ministers to the Dominican Republic. We had a leadership conference in Santo Domingo and Santiago, the two largest cities. Everything went well. The Haitian leaders are so eager to learn that they asked us to come back soon so that they can get more training. We have attached a brief video below, which you can watch at your convenience.

This month, we visited several new churches. After our trip to the DR, we met with a senior pastor in Stone Mountain, Georgia, and attended prayer meeting at his church. He and his congregation have already sent a generous gift to our mission agency on our behalf. The pastor will soon meet with his leadership staff to discuss their ongoing partnership with us.

Last week, we ministered to a church in Murphy, North Carolina. We taught Sunday school for the adults in the morning and preached in the evening. After the evening service, the church voted to support our ministry every month.

Last Wednesday, we ministered to a church here in Georgia through Zoom. We preached and shared our burdens for our people living in the DR and Haiti. The next day, we received word from the church’s director of missions that he would submit our names for monthly support at their next leadership meeting.

Our beloved, we do not cease giving thanks to God for you. We appreciate your fervent prayers, generosity, and trust in God’s ministry. Pray for God’s protection and provision as we wrap up our pre-field ministry in the coming months.
