Ministry Updates and Urgent Prayer Requests

Greetings,
I pray this letter finds you and your family doing well and encouraged in the Lord. It is always a joy to communicate with you and share updates about the ministry here in the Dominican Republic so that you may continue faithfully praying for us.

Thank you so much for your fervent prayers for our family. By God’s grace, my daughter is doing well, and we are deeply grateful for His faithfulness and care. I returned to the Dominican Republic on May 4 while my family remained in the United States awaiting new passports for three of our children. We thank the Lord that the passports arrived yesterday, and today my family safely joined me here once again. How great and faithful our God is!

During our furlough in the United States, I had the opportunity to write a book on Psalm 34:1–10 entitled Living in God’s Presence and Protection: Experiencing God’s Care in Every Season of Life. Though brief, it is a meaningful and encouraging study of God’s faithful care for His people. I would encourage you to take a look at it on Amazon, and I trust it will be a blessing to you.

The church here in the Dominican Republic is doing well, and we had a wonderful worship service last Sunday. It is always uplifting to see the people worship the Lord wholeheartedly despite the many challenges they face. Please pray for me as I have several teaching engagements in our Bible school this summer.

Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and faithful support. Your partnership in the ministry is a tremendous blessing to our family and to the work God is doing here. May the Lord richly bless you and continue to fulfill “the good work” He has begun in you “until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6).

Sincerely,
Ismael and the Dora Family

"May the LORD continue to bless you!"
